
Hoppin’ John Rice
Cook up Knorr’s delicious Hoppin’ John Rice made with a few simple ingredients. A recipe that’s quick and easy to make but flavorful to eat!

- 4 slices bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 6 ounces boneless pork loin
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. chopped garlic
- 2 cups water
- 1 package Knorr® Rice Sides Beef
- 1 can (16 oz.) black-eyed peas
- 2 dashes hot pepper sauce

Print1. In medium saucepan, cook bacon with pork until well browned; remove. Reserve 1 tablespoon drippings. Add onion and garlic to reserved drippings and cook over medium heat 3 minutes or until tender. Add water and Knorr® Rice Sides™ - Beef flavor and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes or until rice is tender. Stir in black-eyed peas, hot pepper sauce, bacon and pork; heat through..
