Easy “Baked” Beans
Ingredients List
- 2 slices bacon, chopped
- 2 cans (19 oz. ea.) red kidney beans or cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 envelope Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Beefy Onion Soup Mix
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
Directions
Print1. In 3-quart saucepan, cook bacon over medium-high heat until crisp. Stir in beans and continue cooking, stirring frequently, 1 minute.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil over high heat.
3. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 20 minutes or until thickened.
